Terms of Service

These terms apply when you buy from or use brewsmithcoffee.com. By placing an order, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, just ask us.

1. Who we are

Brewsmith Coffee Roasters is the trading name of BREWSMITH SDN. BHD. (Registration No. 202301001230 / 1495149-T), a specialty coffee roaster in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, roasting since 2017.

2. Products and prices

  • All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). We are not registered for Sales and Service Tax (SST), so no SST is charged.
  • Shipping charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Coffee beans: espresso roasts come in 500g and 1kg bags; filter roasts come in 200g bags.
  • Machines, grinders and Stronghold roasters: available by quotation. Contact us with your enquiry and we'll send you a quote.
  • Wholesale: for cafés and businesses. Contact us for pricing and terms.
  • Mobile Coffee Bar (event coffee catering): price on application (POA). Contact us with your event details.
  • We try to keep product descriptions, photos and prices accurate. If we find a mistake affecting your order, we'll contact you before going ahead, and you can cancel for a full refund.

3. Orders

Your order is confirmed once payment is received. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock or a price was listed in error). If we do, we'll refund anything you've paid in full.

4. Payment

For now, we accept Touch 'n Go eWallet only. Payment is processed by Touch 'n Go; we don't see or store your eWallet login details.

We'll update this section when more payment methods become available.

5. Roasting and shipping

  • Coffee is roasted to order and shipped soon after roasting.
  • When you order, choose whole bean or a grind. Espresso coffees can be ground for espresso, V60 or French press; filter coffees for V60 or French press. Ground coffee is ground fresh for your order, so please double-check your choice.
  • Delivery usually takes 1–2 business days within West Malaysia. East Malaysia and Singapore take longer.
  • You can also pick up your order free from our café in Southkey JB; choose Pick up at checkout.
  • Shipping charges: orders of RM100 or more ship free anywhere in Malaysia, including Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan. Below RM100, shipping within Malaysia is charged at live EasyParcel courier rates, calculated at checkout from your order weight. Shipping to Singapore is RM35 for the first 1kg, plus RM6 for each additional kg, and is not eligible for free shipping. Your shipping charge is always shown at checkout before you pay.
  • Delivery times are estimates. Courier delays are outside our control, but we'll help chase anything that goes missing.
  • Please give us a correct address, email and phone number. The courier will send tracking details once your order is dispatched.

6. Problems with your order and refunds

Every coffee is cupped and checked before it leaves our roastery. Because coffee is a fresh, roasted-to-order food product, we generally can't accept returns or give refunds for change of mind.

If your order arrives damaged, is wrong, or something isn't right, message us within 3 days of delivery with your order number and photos. We'll replace the item or refund you. Brewsmith covers return shipping.

If you're not happy with a coffee, tell us anyway at hi@brewsmithcoffee.com. We'd like to hear about it.

Nothing in these terms affects your rights under Malaysian consumer law.

7. Your personal information

We use your personal information only to process and deliver your order, keep you updated about it, provide customer support, run your account, and meet our legal obligations. We don't sell or trade your information. We share it only with the service providers we need to complete your order, such as our payment provider and couriers, or when the law requires it. We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
