Coffee roasted right here
Brewsmith has roasted specialty coffee in Johor Bahru since 2017. We were founded by the 2015 Malaysian AeroPress Champion, and we roast all our coffee on Stronghold at this same address. In the café, our award-winning baristas brew it with the same care we put into every roast. Our approach at the roaster and at the bar is the same: not to alter what's in the bean, but to unlock it.

You'll find us at The Lakefront, Kota Southkey, Johor Bahru. We're open Tuesday to Sunday (Tuesday to Thursday 9am–5pm, Friday to Sunday 10am–6pm) and closed on Mondays, so plan your trip around the Monday closure.
Can't make it across? Order our beans online: we ship to Singapore, and delivery times are shown at checkout.
Take our beans home
Retail bags of our coffee beans are sold at the café, so you can take home the coffee you've just tasted. You can also order online:
- All coffee beans: light-roast filter in 200g bags and medium-roast espresso in 500g and 1kg bags.
- The Filter Discovery Pack: two contrasting filter coffees, 200g each.
- Drip bags: single-origin coffee in boxes of 5, for coffee on the go.
